Today is the day! Bags are packed, itinerary is set and only a few quehaceres are left. I'm happy (开心) and ready to go; I still struggle to understand much of what I hear in Chinese (还不懂) and it takes a good cranking of the gears to speak (太困难了!) but I've started making contacts in China and hope to spend my weeks there avoiding English (英文) and exerting myself in Mandarin (普通话).

I will miss my babies, and my wonderful students, but it won't be long before I get to see everyone again. Thank you all for your love and support!

While in China, I will not be able to actively update this blog as there is a firewall preventing access. I will be sure to update things promptly when I return.
